Pretty Pink Hummus

This hummus has an unlikely star ingredient that with the right balance sings notes you simply do not expect!! Even if you do not like beets you have to give this combo a chance!!

Ingredients:

1 can garbanzo beans drained

1 can del monte sliced beets drained

1/2 cup tahini

1/2 cup olive oil

1 lemon juiced

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons dried dill

Please note for tahini I use the mighty sesame tahini brand that comes in a squirt bottle from Walmart. So, it is more runny than some of the jarred tahini’s. I have used in the past. For a thicker tahini start with 1/4 cup and add more to taste. 

Blend everything in blender or food processor until smooth then blend some more to get ultra smooth whip! Serve with sliced cucumber or crackers and enjoy! Keep for 7 days in the refrigerator.
